Words with power

I've been spending a lot of time with books; submersed in the written goodness of happy endings and fairy tale stories. Sometimes it's nice to just read and forget the world, I think it's the approaching fall, this time of year just leaves me wanting warm soup, books and blankets. I'm a bookworm by heart, well it's in the top 5, with cooking, sleeping, movie watching, and driving. All the things that are effortless to me.
My father use to say that life would pass me by, that I was escaping reality; I just think I love stories with new ideas to grasp on to.
I've been absent from here, and on occasion it's nice and healthy to step away. However I've missed it, and I could recap my life change, but let's just say I'm different in a good way. I hope you all are well out there who are listening.

  1. Reading is good for us, and it's always interesting to notice a common theme among books in a particular phase in our lives. I'm not much of a reader, but in these past two months I've been reading a lot of translations of Japanese novels. I recently picked a random book called "On Love" and to get a break, but can't concentrate on reading. I seem to only read when I have a few minutes to myself between waiting, so I only read at work during my breaks.

It's nice to see you haven't disappeared from blogging.

  3. The best thing it is.
To submerge yourself in a completely different beautiful story that makes you happy.
    I like it.
Plus when there's a good weather and hot soup to it, the world needs nothing more.
    :)

  5. I have to say I hate happy endings. They tell me nothing about life.
